Parachute plays its part in sport day

UP to 25 children with disabilities attended a sporting session especially for them at Blue Coat School.
The youngsters participated in multi-sports including a parachute activity, football and basketball at the school on Horsedge Street, Oldham.
Steve Ferriss, holiday programme co-ordinator for Oldham Sport Development, said: “The children had lots of fun and the sessions were well attended. The next ones start in early September.”
