OLDHAM Roughyeds have been on top form on the good cause front, raising a bumper £8,000 for their two adopted charities.
The money was made last month from donations at the Roughyeds match with Doncaster at Boundary Park, and the auctioning of players’ jerseys on ebay.
And last weekend at the match between Roughyeds and Workington, cheques for £4,004 were presented to the Genesis Appeal for breast cancer research and to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
