A 32-year-old Oldham man has had his bail extended as police investigations continue into the rape of a 14–year–old girl as she was walking her dog at a beauty spot.
The teenager was attacked as she was strolling through woodland near Newent Lake, in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, on July 10. A man approached her before committing the serious sexual assault.
The Oldham man was arrested the following day and has been re-bailed to return to Gloucester police station on October 31.
