A Mossley man says he has lost the sight in his right eye following a serious assault in Oldham.
Nick Russell (38), of Quickwood Road, was involved in an altercation with a group of men at about 2.20am on Saturday, July 26.
He was travelling home in a taxi from a night out with friends when a group of youths blocked the path of the taxi as it drove along Huddersfield Road.
In the fighting that followed, Mr Russell was assaulted, sustaining his eye injury.
