Soap star Ricky on way to Oldham

“HOLLYOAKS” hunk Ricky Whittle is coming to Oldham nightclub Livingstones.

The 27-year-old, who plays policeman Calvin Valentine in the Channel 4 soap, was born in Oldham but travelled around a lot due to his father’s RAF duties.

After an injury left his football career in tatters Ricky did a degree in law and criminology at Southampton University before turning his hand to modelling.

Before long, he won a part in Sky 1 soap “Dream Team” and appeared in “Holby City”.

Calvin landed in “Hollyoaks” a year ago and has melted viewers’ hearts with his brooding looks and impressive physique.

He can currently be seen battling with his conscience after murdering drug dealer Nige and planning his wedding to Carmel McQueen.

Ricky will be appearing on stage at 11.45 at the Fairbottom Street club and fans will get their chance to ask questions and to have their photograph taken with him.
