Urgent plea for more members

More committee members are needed for the Lees Community Association, says joint secretary Jenny Daubney.

She said: “We have five committee members and it is essential that this number is increased to carry out the work required to keep Lees Community Association running.”

Meanwhile in September, the association is involved in a national campaign to clean up their neighbourhood.

The next members’ meeting will be held on Wednesday in the Swan, High Street, Lees.
