Car crazy!

PEOPLE got all revved up when nearly 90 classic cars rolled into Uppermill at the weekend.
King George V playing fields hosted the annual Tame Valley Vintage and Classic Car Club rally for the 23rd year on Sunday.
And there was plenty to keep visitors interested with an array of gleaming vehicles — from soft-top to hardtop or sports to saloon.
The oldest was a 1923 Studebaker Special Six while pre, post and wartime Daimlers caused a buzz.
Joint organiser David Ogden explained: “One of the guys who owns a post-war Daimler said he had never seen a get-together like that before, not even at Daimler shows.
“If you went to a Daimler show you would not have an Army vehicle but we are a multi-marque club.
“We had vehicles from the 1920s right up to virtually the present day with Mustangs among the American cars.
“We had 89 vehicles there plus about nine motorbikes, and a couple of scooters turned up in the afternoon.”
