All in 90 minutes: volunteers mad this haul clearing up their area

Litter picking in Diggle brought a few surprises for the clean-up team.

Volunteers discovered a tractor tyre, a car bumper, dolls, a pram, and an office chair! Residents from Diggle Community Association and children and parents from Diggle School joined forces for the clean-up

Nigel Shaw, chairman of the community association, thanked Oldham Council’s Street Scene department for providing litter grabbers, plastic bags and a huge skip.
