BRIDES-TO-BE can bag themselves a bargain wedding dress and win a honeymoon to boot at the RSPCA’s charity fashion show.

The event, at the Tokyo Project, Roscoe Street, Oldham, on Thursday, October 9, will feature the may types of clothes donated to the organisation’s various charity shops across the borough.

Everything modelled will be for sale and the event, which is sponsored by the Evening Chronicle, takes place from 6.30pm.

Mandy Tierney, branch manager at the RSPCA’s Rhodes Bank centre, said: “We are urging everyone to get involved and to raise money.

“Anyone who wants to donate items for the show can call the centre on 0161-624 4725.

“It costs £500,000 a year to run the centre and we don’t get any help from the Government so we rely on events like this to keep us going.

“We are hoping to raise £5,000 on the night which will go towards running the centre and a mobile welfare clinic.”

There will also be an auction on the night and anyone able to donate prizes is asked to call Mandy at the number above.

Tickets are £5 and are available from Tokyo Project, any RSPCA shop and the Rhodes Bank animal centre.
