Stabbed teen probe

Two men were appearing before Tameside magistrates in Ashton today following the stabbing of a teenager during a disturbance in Mossley on Saturday night.
Richard Hill (19), of Old Brow, Mossley, is charged with attempted murder and Daniel Livesey (18), of The Willows, Mossley, is charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
The incident happened in Manchester Road shortly before 11pm. A 17-year-old suffered stab wounds.
He was taken to Tameside General Hospital, Ashton, for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old youth were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
They have been bailed until Monday, December 15, pending further inquiries.
