MONEY from the development of the new Tesco outlet at Hill Stores will be used to improve the surrounding roads.
The money, totalling £255,000, is given to the council by the supermarket giant for highway and other improvements as a condition of the new building.
And £18,000 will be used to remove humps in Greenacres Road and replace them with speed cushions, install a school safety zone, upgrade bus stops and footpaths in Dunkerley Street and Greenacres Road, and build a cycle lane in Livesey Street.
