A LUCKY Latics fan will be given the star treatment at the top of the table clash with Leicester City after winning a competition.

Ann Winterbottom, from Springhead, scooped a top prize in a free draw organised by Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre.

The grandmother won four tickets to tomorrow’s crunch game at Boundary Park with executive box seating, a three-course meal with wine and coffee, complimentary bar before the match, at half-time and full-time and a signed football presented by the man of the match.

And Ann (66) certainly deserves the prize as she has loyally supported Latics for 40 years.

She had been planning to get tickets for the game but fortunately found out she had won just beforehand. Ann said: “I’m highly delighted. I didn’t expect to win.

“I had been in Spindles and saw the adverts all over the place for the prize draw and decided to enter.

“I found out I’d won on Monday night and I was going to buy tickets on the Tuesday.

“I’m really looking forward to it and the only thing that will spoil it is if we don’t get the win.”

But husband Frank won’t be going as he’s changed allegiances to Manchester United — so daughter Jenny, who has supported Latics for 35 years, and her two children will accompany Ann instead.
