Teenager injured in robbery

A GANG of youths targeted a 15-year-old schoolboy in a street robbery in Oldham.
The victim was surrounded and racially abused in Balfour Street before being punched and kicked about the head and body.
The thugs stole his mobile phone and fled towards Lees Road.
The victim suffered concussion, a fractured cheekbone and cuts and bruises.
All of the attackers were Asian. One was slim, 6ft, aged between 16 and 20, with a big nose and black hair with a short fringe.
Another was around 5ft 7ins, aged 16-20, and wearing a dark, hooded tracksuit top and jeans with a white motif on the thigh area.
The assault happened at around 6.50pm on Tuesday.
