OLDHAM’S Literature Festival is well under way and following performances from a number of famous authors,, bookworms still have a number of exciting events to look forward to.
Tomorrow will see local characters Mark Llewellin and Jane Hodson host a light-hearted reading night from 6pm.
“Some Girls’ Mothers”, on Thursday, October 30, will see authors Clare Shaw, Char March, River Wolton and Anne Caldwell read from their collection of funny tales at 6pm following an afternoon writing workshop. Admission to both is £2.
And the festival will close with a free family event and giant Hallowe’en Party on Friday, October 31, from 2.30pm. All the final events will take place at Oldham Lifelong Learning Centre.
