A HIGH Crompton hairdresser is hoping to be a cut above the rest when she competes for the chance to represent Britain.
Karen Sedgwick has reached the national final of the Wella Trendvision competition and will go up against 24 other hairdressers at the Roundhouse in Camden on Monday.
The 29-year-old has already sailed through two rounds and fought off competition from 10,000 others.
If Karen, who works at Carey and Carey in Union Street, wins on Monday she will represent her country in the next stage and be up against some of the best hairdressers in the world.
She said: “It will be amazing to win but it’s going to be tough as I will be judged by some of London’s top stylists.”
