First-class effort by sixth form college
Date published: 24 October 2008
OLDHAM Sixth-Form College is at the forefront of the borough’s bid to raise money for breast cancer care.
It isn’t Dare to Wear it Pink Day until next Friday, but they made an early start because of half-term and have already raised £1,100 — with more money still to come in.
Staff and students spent yesterday wearing pink clothing and flamboyant wigs and there were plenty of pink balloons.
