Date published: 13 November 2008
A restaurant owner who dumped his rubbish in an alleyway has been stung with a £7,500 bill.
Manchester City Council prosecuted Prince Murano Adedini (51), of Mona Road, Chadderton, for discarding business waste behind his premises.
Adedeni, trading as Royal African Cuisine in Levenshulme, was found guilty of five charges at Manchester Magistrates’ Court — three of fly-tipping, one of storing controlled waste and one of failing to keep waste transfer notes.
He was fined £1,000 for each count and ordered to pay £2,411 costs along with a £15 victims of crime surcharge — a total of £7,426.
