Police paraglider plea
Date published: 19 November 2008
POLICE are appealing for anyone who has seen a red and white paraglider being used to come forward.
It was stolen during a robbery at a house in Knott Lanes, Bardsley, last Wednesday some time between 1pm and 7pm.
The offenders got into the house by sneaking through to the back garden and smashing open the back door before ransacking the living room, kitchen and bedrooms.
Anyone who has seen the equipment being used or sold anywhere is asked to call police on 0161-872 5050 or the Crimestoppers charity on 0800-555 111.
