Girls in pink at Wilson and Rogers
A PINK-THEMED fundraiser at a Lees hairdressers raised over £2,400 for a breast cancer charity.
Staff at Wilson and Rogers Hairdressing and Beauty, in Acorn Street, held a charity event to mark two years in their new premises.
A raffle with donated prizes, including a ride in a pink limo and VIP Take That concert tickets, proved popular and helped raise £2,451.
Co-owner Pamela Wilson said: “We’ve been in business for 13 years and decided to hold the event to raise money for charity and as a thank-you to our clients.
“We had some wonderful raffle prizes given to us and it was a great evening.”
