Quilters’ designs on show

FOUNDER member of the Canalside Quilters at Uppermill Sue Warburton has been giving handbags an eye-catching makeover.
She has been covering and adapting handbags to her own design and her work will go on show at the quilters’ first exhibition, which opens tomorrow and runs into the New Year.
Also on show at the Museum gallery will be a range of members’ work, and there is a chance to buy items on display at a fair, also held tomorrow.
