Cycle safety drive

St. Joseph's School, Shaw pupils take part in Bike-ability session.
PUPILS have been learning important safety lessons and showing their proficiency.
A Bike-ability scheme, run by Oldham Council, took place over four days at St Joseph’s School, Shaw with 14 Year 5 pupils taking part.
Similar to the old cycling proficiency lessons, they learnt cycling skills, bike safety and the Highway Code before moving on to local roads.
Deputy head teacher Steve Hill said: “They all passed with flying colours.”
