Plans for park

A TRANSFORMED Dunwood Park will only be possible if the public gets involved.
The meeting heard about the success of the council’s parks department and the voluntary group, the Friends of Dunwood Park in securing £45,000 to further develop a bid for a Lottery grant.
The team now has until October to flesh out its application, with £1.9 million available if the Lottery is happy with the final plans.
Parks officer Keith Bunnell said: “It is important that people come forward and let us know what activities they would like.
“It could be anything to do with the park, like nature trails to what the public could use a proposed community building for.”
