Jury yet to agree verdict

THE jury in the trial of a man accused of killing a 47-year-old welder with a single push will continue its deliberations for a third day.
The 11 members, who have been considering the case since Monday at Manchester Crown Court, twice asked to view CCTV footage of the moments leading up to the push yesterday.
Paul Parry (25) of Assheton Road, Newton Heath, denies the manslaughter of Arnold Siddall, whose skull was fractured when he hit the ground outside the Lock wine bar, Oldham Road, Failsworth, last September.
The judge, Mr Justice Openshaw, said the time had come where he would accept a verdict that at least 10 jury members agreed with.
The foreman said they had not reached such a verdict and needed more time.
