PEDAL power proved just perfect for youngsters at Buckstones Primary School in Shaw, who completed a national cycling course.
A total of 12 Year 6 pupils spent every Thursday afternoon for four weeks taking part in a course run by the National Cycling Association in conjunction with Oldham Council.
The pupils learned about the dangers on the road and the correct safety equipment to wear.
