FORGET the “X-Factor”, Higginshaw residents set out to prove there’s plenty of talent in Oldham.
Higginshaw’s Got Talent saw dozens of performers take to the stage at St Stephen’s and All Martyrs Church in the hope of being crowned winner.
The Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Shoab Akhtar, couldn’t resist dropping by to sneak a peek at some of the talent on display at the event.
Every child who took part received a gold medal, certificate and shopping voucher, while every adult was given a certificate.
