Party out of Mumbai before horror

WORRIED relatives have been calling an Oldham travel agency for news of tourists they feared were caught up in the Mumbai violence.
Mina World Travel, in Ashton Road, has organised a trip to India for 21 passengers, including a stay in Mumbai, which was rocked by terrorist attacks on Wednesday.
But owner Gunvant Kumpavat was able to reassure their families that they had left three or four days earlier.
He added: “Obviously there is chaos in Mumbai at the moment, and a sad event has occurred, but security will be tight and probably it is safer to go there now than later.
“There was a feeling that something like this would happen in Mumbai because of the bombings that have taken place in India.
“I have had clients’ relatives on the phone this morning, worried, because a lot of people don’t know the geography of the place. But I was able to reassure them.”
