CHRISTMAS came early for revellers at a Shaw day centre when they welcomed a few special guests.
Father Christmas and his friends the good fairy and the elf paid a visit to Laurel Bank Day Centre in Kershaw Street to provide festive cheer and a whole host of fun.
Santa himself arrived in a vintage delivery van provided by bakers Warburtons while his pals travelled in style — a white Rolls Royce courtesy of Holden’s Photography.
Once he was settled in, Santa received everyone’s Christmas list and enjoyed the selection of crafts, gifts and cakes on offer at the fair which also featured a tombola and bric-a- brac stalls.
The centre, which boasts a hairdressing room, medical-care room, kitchen and laundry, provides day care for up to 20 elderly residents.
