Kelvin’s a film star!

LATICS star Kelvin Lomax teamed up with video journalists to showcase their skills on both sides of the camera.

The Oldham Athletic defender dazzled shoppers at Tommyfield Market Hall when he appeared in a short film by Jessica Marsden and Safina Kauser from University Centre Oldham.

It is the first of a series of one-minute features being shot by students on the centre’s digital journalism degree to highlight the talents of Latics players, including the junior and women’s teams.

They will also feature iconic Oldham locations and will be shown on the club’s website.

Jessica and Safina had planned to film outside Levers chippy but were forced to switch at the last minute due to the weather.
