TOWER OF HEALTH ... Oldham’s flagship super health centre (left) is nearing completion.
OLDHAM’S £20 million flagship health centre is towering into completion — but it’s still overshadowed by the civic centre.
This picture, taken by Chronicle photographer Tony Miller from the roof of Oldham College, shows the neighbouring high-rise buildings with the new Integrated Care Centre (ICC) on the left.
In front of the new development is Oldham County Court. Work is now under way on the interior of the 115ft, 10-storey ICC and it’s on target to open next summer.
It will include room for GPs and urgent care, dental, podiatry and specialist therapy services.
