Sportswear stolen in raid
Date published: 11 December 2008
CLOTHING worth hundreds of thousands of pounds has been stolen from Trafford Park.
Thieves using a tractor unit drove off with the trailer containing the jackets (above) from the car park of the World Freight Centre in Europa Way, on Wednesday, December 3.
The trailer contained a large quantity of McKenzie and Carbrini sportswear.
Det Con Andy Taylor, from Stretford CID, said: “These particular jackets are not on sale anywhere in the UK, so you will know if you have been offered one as it would not have been a legal sale.
“If you do recognise these coats, or think you might have been offered some of these stolen goods for sale, then please come forward and speak to us. The information you give us will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact police on 0161-856 7652 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
