YOUNG musicians hit all the right notes at the annual Shaw Schools Brass Band Festival.
Around 80 pupils from three primaries — East Crompton St George’s, Rushcroft and St Joseph’s — took part in the event St Paul’s Church, Shaw.

Organiser and parish councillor David Dunning said: “It was a good evening. It gives the children a chance to play to an audience.”
