New-look Co-op to open
Date published: 16 December 2008
THE Co-op will unveil a smart new look at its Uppermill store following the completion of a £140,000 refit.
The store will relaunch on Friday — a week after the opening of the Chadderton shop, which was also revamped at a cost of £140,000.
Both stores feature the consumer-owned Co-operative Group’s new identity, The Co-operative, which aims to highlight improved service standards across its 4,500 outlets in the UK, including its travel, pharmacy, funerals and bank branches, as well as its commitment to supporting local communities and ethical trading policies.
