Ex-treasurer’s bail extended

THE former treasurer of Waterhead Rugby Club has had his bail extended again as investigations continue into allegations of false accounting.
Tim Kinder was rebailed by police until February 10.
The long-running case dates back to September, 2007, when Mr Kinder resigned after the Peach Road club discovered a £30,000 gap in its accounts.
He was arrested the following month after a probe was launched.
