Woolies...it’s the final countdown

CLOSURE dates have now been confirmed for Woolworth’s stores in Oldham and Shaw.
The Shaw branch on Market Street will shut first on January 2 with the Oldham branch on High Street following on January 5. Administrator Deloitte has confirmed the closure dates for all 807 stores across the country, with the first batch of 200 to shut up shop on Saturday.
It affects 22,000 permanent staff and 5,000 temporary workers, with 74 people employed at the two local stores.
