Bus fares up 10 per cent

BUS fares are set to rise from today across Greater Manchester.
First Bus are bumping up the cost of their First Day, First Week, First Month and annual tickets.
The daily ticket will rise from £3.70 to £4, the weekly from £14 to £15.50 and the monthly from £50 to £55.
Annual tickets will cost £55 a month by direct debit instead of £50 and passengers will get two months free travel.
Child fares remain the same and all tickets can be bought from the driver.
