Woman poorly after smash

A WOMAN had to be cut out of a car when two vehicles collided in Waterloo Street.
A Renault Scenic and Toyota Avensis crashed at the junction with Roscoe Street at noon yesterday.
The woman suffered head injuries and was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital after being lifted from the car on a spinal board. Today, her condition is described as poorly but stable. A man also suffered minor injuries and has been discharged from hospital.
