Cricketer in court

SIMON Wright (27), a former Crompton Cricket Club captain, is due to appear before Oldham Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with two counts of assault.
The charges are in connection with the assault of an off-duty policeman during the Saddleworth and District Cricket League dinner in Denshaw last November.
