MP is guest at energy event

ENVIRONMENTALLY conscious Oldhamers can find out everything they want to know about renewable energy in a special evening event.

Former Environment Minister Michael Meacher, MP for Oldham West and Royton, will be a guest at the event on February 13.

It will also give people a chance to meet renewable energy specialists and members of the local Friends of the Earth group.

Guests can also find out more about renewable energy projects in the area.

The event takes place at the One World Centre in King Street, Oldham, at 7.30pm.
