Who’s that girl?
Date published: 29 January 2009
TV producers working on an “Antiques Roadshow” spin-off are desperately trying to trace an Oldham woman who appeared on the show as a young girl almost three decades ago.
Known only as Kathy, the girl appeared on series two in 1981 with a doll handed down from her grandma.
When asked what she would do with her doll, she told Angela Rippon she would pass it on to her daughter. Programme makers believe the girl, now in her 30s, may have been the first child to have appeared on the “Antiques Roadshow” and want her to feature in a new version called “Priceless”.
Kathy, or anyone who knows her, should contact the newsdesk on 0161-633 2121 or e-mail news@oldham-chronicle.co.uk
