KEEPING fit . . . (from the left) Peggy Cooke, Jenny Widall and Lisa Edwards take exercise in their stride, under the guidance of instructor Michael Rattigan
OVER-50s with mobility problems can join in some free gentle armchair exercises, courtesy of Oldham Community Leisure.
The scheme aims to get elderly people, and anyone over the age of 50 with health or mobility problems, up and moving.
Exercise instructor Michael Rattigan explained: “The idea is to help them gain strength, burn off energy, increase flexibility and improve their mobility.”
The weekly one-hour classes take place at the Radclyffe Outreach Centre (ROC), Kent Avenue, Chadderton.
People who want to join in can drop in to the centre in time for the 9.30am start on Thursdays
