Looking good

FITNESS fans have had their first chance to take a look at the new Saddleworth Pool and Leisure Centre.

The pool is undergoing a £1.5m refurbishment.

Work began last summer and includes a new fitness gym and dance studio, plus revamped pool, changing rooms and car park. The centre will reopen in April.

There will also be new five-a-side football pitches later in the year.

The pool has stayed open during the work with temporary changing rooms and visitors were invited to take a look at the changes being made as well as plans for the future during an open weekend.
