MISSING . . . Frank Ashton
A MAN charged with sexual assault and robbery has been missing from home for more than three months.
Police are trying to trace Frank Ashton (58), of Picton Square, Oldham, who was last seen at 2pm on November 12 — the day before he was due to appear in court.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest and family, friends and police officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
Det-Insp Christopher Bridge of Oldham CID said: “Although the man is wanted, we have genuine concerns for his welfare and our priority here is his safe return.
“Since he went missing, he hasn’t accessed his bank account and there has been no trace of him.
“We and his family really want to hear from him and are urging him to contact a loved one or his nearest police station to let us know he is okay.”
Anyone who knows of Ashton’s whereabouts should ring Oldham CID on 0161-856 8940.
