Fourth arrest on passport charge

A fourth man has been arrested after several boxes of blank passports worth £2.5 million were stolen in Chadderton last July.
The 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal and remains in police custody for questioning.
Two men from Oldham and another from Chadderton are in custody pending committal proceedings to Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court on February 19.
They are charged with handling stolen goods following the theft of 3,000 blank passports from a local printers.
