£15m home repairs and maintenance deal by JANICE BARKER
A £15 million contract will ensure repairs and gas servicing are carried out for more than 1,000 housing association tenants in Oldham.
The four-year deal has been struck between Great Places Housing Group and two new partners, Connaught Partnerships and KHT Services. KHT, based in Prescot, Merseyside, will oversee 2,500 homes in Oldham, Bury, Rochdale, Manchester, Tameside, High Peak, St Helens and Liverpool. Connaught will look after another 5,000 homes across Lancashire, Manchester and Trafford.
Great Places includes Ashiana Housing Association, Manchester Methodist Housing Association and Space New Living.
It owns and manages more than 1,000 properties in Oldham.
