We’re not purr-fect, but we still need a home

THEY may not be cute, cuddly kittens or playful puppies, but these adorable pets are desperately seeking a loving home.
Moggies Mia, Minnie and Jared have been a whisker away from rehoming a number of times — but their tempers have always put a spanner in the works.
The feisty felines have a habit of biting and scratching visitors at the RSPCA cattery — very off-putting for potential new owners.
Staff at Oldham’s Rhodes Bank centre are hoping to rehome the cats on a farm where they will have plenty of space to work off their frustrations without too much human contact.
But the cats aren’t the only problem.
Three-year-old rottweiler Kiara is having to wait three months to be neutered and is getting very stressed in kennels.
RSPCA worker Louise Davey said: “She has just come off season so she can’t have the operation for another 12 weeks.
“Ideally, we would like someone to foster her until she can have the surgery to see if they like her and then officially adopt her when she has been neutered.
“She is a lovely dog but the kennel environment is very stressful for her.”
Collie-cross brother and sister Harry and Holly were born with cleft palates. While there may not be any visible physical deformities, the pups will need special care.
Louise added: “They are lovely puppies, full of fun and really friendly.
“Their condition means they may get food stuck in the roof of their mouth and it will need clearing. Apart from that — they’re fine.”
