Passport theft: five in court

FIVE men charged with handling stolen passports were due to appear before Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square today.
Muneer Hussain (29), of Dearnalay Way, Oldham, Jawad Karim (18), of Vicarage Street, Oldham, Mohammed Shanawaz (23), of Old Lane, Chadderton, Mohammed Fyaz (34), of Manchester Road, Oldham; and Mohammed Khan (52), of Cambridge Street, Werneth, were arrested after the passports, worth £2.5 million, went missing en route from 3M Security Printing and Systems in Chadderton to RAF Northolt in July, last year.
