SHOWING their colours . . . fans in the Main Stand paddock on Tuesday
THIS dedicated band of Latics fans have been thinking pink in an effort to show fellow supporters how to get kitted out for the team’s big televised clash with Leeds United on Monday.
The loyal bunch entered into the spirit of things at Tuesday’s Boundary Park clash with Bristol Rovers.
Now they are urging all Latics fans to search out pink attire so that it’s a colourful spectacular when Latics run out in front of the Sky TV cameras in their specially commissioned all-pink kit.
The club will also be hoping that fans dig deep for a bumper pay-day for the new Victoria breast cancer unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital as well as cheering the team on to a valuable three points in their bid for promotion.
Specially-made pink club scarves are now on sale in the club shop. Club captain Sean Gregan has already displayed the kit Latics will be wearing on the big night and the full kit is expected to be delivered any day now. It will later be auctioned off for the charity.
Your Chronicle will be at Monday’s big game taking photographs of the crowd and if you are picked out in Tuesday’s newspaper you will win one of ten free Latics match tickets.
