PINK CHEER . . . Neal Eardley, Seb Hines and Dean Smalley show off the special kit that will be auctioned off after tonight’s game
COME on you pinks — that’s the cheer that will be ringing around Boundary Park tonight as Latics take on Leeds United in their live-TV promotion clash.
Latics will be playing in an all-pink kit, specially designed to publicise their fund-raising efforts for the Link4Pink appeal for the new Victoria breast cancer unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital.
Latics are hoping that fans will adopt the “think pink” as a dress code tonight to make a real impact from the terraces for the Sky cameras — and in the charity collection buckets.
It’s a massive game for John Sheridan’s men with their last-minute win over Millwall at the weekend pushing them into fourth place in the chase for the play-off places.
See tomorrow’s Chronicle for all the big-match action plus pictures of the “think pink” fans — with free match tickets up for grabs for those circled on the pictures.
