AWARD winning chef and former co-owner of Lydgate’s White Hart is in line for another honour.
John Rudden left Saddleworth to become chef-owner of the Grassington House Hotel in the Yorkshire Dales in July and has been nominated in the Best Newcomer category of the prestigious Northern Hospitality Awards.
Mr Rudden, who used to live in Grotton, said: “It’s great. It’s a fantastic achievement for all of us in the team as we have only been open for 20 weeks. To be up against big hotels like that is quite nice.”
