Old Cabaret Club goes up in flames
Date published: 09 March 2009
FIRE crews from Oldham and Hollins spent three hours tackling a blaze inside the old Cabaret Club in Bridge Street, Oldham last night.
Officers were called to the vacant, two-storey building at just after 6.30pm yesterday. They discovered several seats of fire including the bar, which left the club badly damaged.
Crews contained the blaze to ensure it did not spread to nearby buildings.
No one was injured but police and fire investigation teams are investigating the cause of the blaze.
